” My son came to Napa Christian in third grade, and now in seventh grade I can see how deeply this place has shaped him. The stress he carried in public school simply fell away. Here, he settles into himself — like he’s arriving at a family home, not just a campus — and with that ease, he learns and blossoms in ways I hadn’t seen before.
What he loves most is the way the teachers truly know him. There’s a gentle rhythm to the day — movement, creativity, hands-on experiences — that lets kids stay kids a little longer. With no phones, plentiful breaks, and a circle of kind peers, middle school feels safe and unhurried.
As a parent, I treasure the close connection with his teachers. In a small school, nothing about a child’s spirit goes unnoticed. If I sense he’s a little off, I can reach out, and they already understand the emotional thread of his day. They hold academics and heart with equal care.
We first chose Napa Christian because of the farm, the garden, and the way learning lives in real experiences. I still remember them doing math by measuring the pigs or beginning mornings with a simple prayer — grounding, nature-rooted, and full of breath.
And every single morning at drop-off, I pause. The teachers are always outside at the table, unhurried and genuinely happy to greet the kids. They welcome them with such ease and warmth that the whole day begins gently. The children go straight to them, excited to start their morning. I take a moment right then and let my heart feel the gratitude deeply — that we found this place, and that my son is growing in a space that sees him so clearly.
I recommend this school to families who want an education that honors the whole child — mind, heart, and spirit. For sensitive kids or those who feel overwhelmed in traditional settings, this is a place where they can exhale, grow, and feel truly seen.
